I am off to France near toulose tomorrow and going to be fishing the river averon, been told holds fish to 40+ and hardly sees any pressure, will let you know

There are a few around East Grinstead there is Beaver and Stub Pond, Godstone Vineyard Only fished Beavers not the other two so note sure, near Edenbridge there is Gabriels Fishery Pretty sure Oxted and Edenbridge have clubs

Mick Which lake are you going to fish, the bloke that owns my local tackle shop fishes it all the time and is always talking to me about it, let me know which lake and i wil ask him for you

Never fished this water but if you in croydon there are others nearer to you Would reckon Beaver at East Grinstead would be good just down the A23 from you and has around 8 lakes for all standards , day ticket, toilet and cafe as well. Just looked at their website out of interest and all i can say is i am glad i live over 150 miles away from that place and its rules and sheds !!!

Having tied a couple of rigs yesterday and look ing at them in water , the hook length does not really hold the bottom - so rig putty needed, problem going at 6 am tomorrow before shops open - any suggestions, is there something similar from Hardware stores ?

Reading through the article , i like what i see, similar to how i have been fishing, but i have been using swimfeeder on running rig and magclips I ask the following questions please 1) Only two maggots on a size 10 would that not look out of place and also attract smaller fish? How about a size 12? 2) I have seen the draw string pva bags which would be easy to tie to the rig , does any one have preference on PVA Going to go on wednesday , brave the cold get out of the office and catch some fish Cheers for any advice

Have been to the great country many times , on holiday and hockey tour and on coffee shops tour !!! Have fished there before but never for carp, just heard there were lots of carp present and i love the country and its ways !!!!

Was thinking of a long weekend in France, but why not Holland, can anybody help with venues , be it commercial type or public waters Thank you
