Hi all just looking for a bit of info on this place I know there are a few decent fish in there and fancy a go at it Was told it used to be free fishing but someone recently told me its now done on a season ticket Does anyone know price looked all over and cannot find anything out Cheers Glyn

Hi all just getting back into the swing of things after a good few years with hardly any time on the bank. New job hopefully equals more fishing so looking for venues in or around South Yorks will do mostly days or afternoon and evening sessions with the odd night thrown in here and there. Wanting to keep away from places such as Stubbs Hall and the likes. Maybe a season ticket and couple of decent day ticket waters just for a change. Dont need it to be too easy been fishing long enough to sort myself out on most venues tactic wise lol.Really like to get somewhere that is not stacked out Yep I know thats hard nowadays. Starting to put time on there this week after bank holiday Thanks for the tips everyone

Ok Ive decided to put some time in at Woodsetts this year I know its going to be hard not worried about that.Still in walking stage been about 6 times and gonna walk it a few more times before fishing.Just wondering if anyone can tell me a few things stock levels from what I know its small stock of carp and maybe some starting points not asking for eveything just a few bits to get started rest I will work out myself. Not scared of doing work it makes catching feel that much better but if you have a start it just breaks the edge a bit. Cheers Glyn

Hi all , Just come out of hospital and got to have some time off work thats a shame, so looking for somewhere pretty local maybe for a few day sessions over next few weeks then longer max 48 hrs as I feel a bit better. Just dont want to travel far at the moment and had a lay off from carpin for about 2 years.Any info would be welcome I am just outside Rotherham and not worried if its day ticket or club water also not too worried about it being too easy although a few fish would be nice lol. There are some better fish in Rossways water I am not local but stay in cabins on site for hols had a few commons just over 20 and mirrors to 19 last october my son had a common at 24 and a mirror at 21 on last day of hol.That was quite a hard week and we still managed 50 odd fish between us.Loads of doubles in there but also lots of singles. Done well with small bags and most good baits will work but we have done best with 15mm cream cajosour boilies. Enjoy Good hunting Glyn
