I was wanting to come over to the Dordogne area of France flying into Bergerac to barbel fish can anyone recommend any rivers small rivers if possible that would hold barbel and the area where they are

Hi am wanting to buy a property in France I'm flying to Bergerac am lvery interested in any of the rivers for Barbel fishing can you advise me am thinking of flying over next month where would you suggest I base myself
