  1. Thanks for advise in the end in juat gonna stick with the 2 next year and see how I go and see if I think it makes much difference to catch rate I dont think it will and most of the time I'll be on water where i think two is enough anyway
  2. Yeah makes sense plus with a sleeve system it so easy to swap bewteen carrying two and three
  3. Esp lo pro if you a smallish shelter or tempset brolly if you want a larger footprint
  4. How many rods to you use 2 or 3? Can't choose wether I should drop down to 2. Pro for swapping to down to 2 Weight so can easily move and make sure my rigs are on the fish. Money: il be saving at least few 100 quid when i factor in buying in braid ticket price and rod liensce. Plus im due to replace my reels soon Let alone the extra bait and hooks to fish another spot. Distrubance: less rods less line etc etc Pros of 3 rods Extra rig could be an extra chance for fish. Or rod to try something diffenet on I nornally fish one of 3 places Small river Only about 2-3 rod lenght wide and fish simple and due to club lakes I can only fish 2 rods. Easier lake Deep pit mostly just margin fishing I dont feel that the 3rd rod has brought me any extra fish Weedy small lake 10acrre or so very weedy lake with loads of pads, snag and features. I dont often fish here but will do more next season..
  5. So it arrived and i love it. So easy to put up. Little bit tight with my bed chair and bag and food bag in there atm. But ill make it work.
  6. Yeah i brought one on friday. Plus a smaller bag to make sure i can get everything under nearth what lenght poles are people using for front
  7. Ive been looking at the hideouts too as they look quite good 15cm or so extra out the front so the same size as the 60 inch brolly i was looking at. Can get it for 200 for the dull system which is cheaper then low pro front and ground sheet Not sure now stable it is without tge storm poles on the front. But like the fact how quicky the fribt goes up and down
  8. Ok mine only 800mm so im sure it should be fine. Im still gonna try and see one in the flesh before jumping. Messaged almost all pf my local and not so local shops
  9. Looks the nuts would be tight in there will my big bag but im sure it would fit is that a standard width bedchair you have? I really should invest in a smaller bag for 24 hour sessions but then id want to buy everything again I dont think i should worry about my food bag as if im doing longer sessions 2 or more nights i go to my lake that i can park near the car for thoose places i can just take my bivvy. Yeah thats what i want it for a lot of the time i dont even put a brolly up i just need it throw over myseld and my gear incase the heaven opens or keep me out of the wind. As annoying as the mozzies are im not a massive fan of shuting the lake out but for the 40 ill might ive it a go and forget about spending that money on a groundsheet
  10. Ok ill wait for him to pop up then. If reads this in session take a photo of the brolly love to see how mich gear you got in it
  11. New on here. Been stuck for months on wether to get a lo pro or a tempset brolly it will be used mainly in summer for one night trips and odd two nighter and same in winter for the odd night or two. Next year my lake has a long barrow enloved so weight and speed are rather important. I use a brolly more to keep me and kit dry and out if the wind so need offer enpugh coverage and be man enough to deal with a wind for able to fit my ss3 food bag, biggest scope rucksack and keep waders dry. I used to have a scope brolly and it managed this just but cpuldnt be bothered with hinged poles. Like the price weight ams look of the lo pro but not sure of the coverage? But everyome raves about the tempset brolly but for the same money i can get the lo pro plus the mozzie front. I do already have a bivvy that is very simallar sized if im going for a bit longer and and need a bit more comfort. Plus seem silly to spend like 300 odd on a system to replace what i have so it 10 mins quicker to put up and only saved me a kilo or two
