Help Needed Quick - Val Dore -Please Help

Hi all,

I need information quick please, its my dads 60th birthday in aug and want to take him val dore for a week as im paying its cheap and hes not to bothered as long as he catches.

 

Which lakes are the runs waters what size of fish can we expect and any peg advise as i need to make a request on pegs A.S.A.P but dont know where to start.

 

I have read lake 3 is a good runs water but what size do the fish go to / ave size and have read the website anyone know anything about lake 5?

 

Any information greatfully recieved.

Fished lake five two years ago, its full of doubles, between eight anglers my twenty one pounder was biggest for the week, my mate caught forteen fish , his biggest was eighteen pound, and the lake is small which creates problems with other anglers, i was stuck in a corner with very little water to fish and no where to move to. Sounds like sour grapes, but none of my group will go back there.

hello mate ive fished valdore for three years now i would fish lake 2 try and get pegs 11/12/13/14 these produce good fish its not a runs water but big carp only use particals tigers work well and sweet corn its not a bollie water hope this helps if you req anymore info let me know.
