  1. Its a very shallow silty lake, lake, the fish don,t like lines, deffinately take back leads, they draw for swims, a few are long range (100+yards), its allways been a boilie lake, rather than particle, Nutrabaits trigga has allways been the best bait there, they have allways supplied it on site, allthough they now sell other baits asswell, having said that groundbait has worked well there, be prepared for some serious storms,in about 10 trips never been and not had one, they never get just normal rain over there, and dont forget a pillow for the coach, its an 8 hour trip, and not very comfortable, hope that helps, good luck, its very hard to blank there.
  2. Most commercial fisheries in France are pretty much the same as English lakes and your normal tackle will do, if the lake has big fish (40 plus) just be sure your line is up to it and your unhooking mat, weigh sling and landing net are large enough. Good luck wher ever you choose to go.
  3. The lake we fish in France the English baillif advises not to drink the water, i would allways buy bottled, better to be safe than sorry.
  4. Tri Lakes near Yateley not to far away, fairly easy fishing.
  5. What about A1 pits in Nottingham, going end of october for 1 week, only 10 pounds for twenty four hours, 6 lakes fish to over 40lbs, parking at the back of swims, sounds to good, you could let me know what its like.
  6. That will be states lagoon, a doubles and low twenties water with lots of bream. Newlands speci lake has a serious crayfish problem at the moment.
  7. Fished lake five two years ago, its full of doubles, between eight anglers my twenty one pounder was biggest for the week, my mate caught forteen fish , his biggest was eighteen pound, and the lake is small which creates problems with other anglers, i was stuck in a corner with very little water to fish and no where to move to. Sounds like sour grapes, but none of my group will go back there.
  8. Went there last year (winter) and it was rammed. Not a very big lake, everyone using three rods, won,t be going there again. If you have a long way to travel definately phone first.
