Maggot Clips

I was thinking about fishing off the bottom for carp, was wondering if maggot clips actually worked

they do but i prefer the needle and dental floss way and tying it to a d rig.

 

takes longer but better presentation

I was using maggot clips the other day to present sweetcorn, worked a treat

Try the smaller ones as they`re reckoned to be better than the large ones,don`t know why tho. Mates of mine have used them and rate the smaller one best.

used them last winter in cunjunction with a swim feeder and had loads, also added curry powder to the maggots worked a treat, almost the time of the year to bring them out again

i am definatly giving maggots ago this year and i might get some nice perch as well

I tried maggot clips a few days ago but i had no result so i stuck a huge bunch of lob worms on and it worked like a dream

Needle and cotton here,just convenience angling IMO
