have a look through the rig section you should find plenty to be going on with, but my advice would be to learn how to tie a knotless knot and use this first, the basic knotless knot has probably caught more fish than any other rig.

 

simpler is often better :wink:

couldnt agree more ,simplicity is the key ive tried hinged rigs shrink tubing etc etc but i always end up tying simple rigs and seem to have more confidence using these but each to his own as they say

yeah i'm currently learning all knot's at the moment i've got a little knot's book which i'm looking through nothing spectacular... lol

i would just use a simple hair rig with shrink tubeing mate. my favourite rig is a simple hair rig made from 20lb flourocarbon hooklength with a size 8 korda widegape hook. but the hair is made from 15lb silkworm because its really flexible and i think will make the bait act more realisticly in the water
