andy52 Posted January 14, 2010 Report Share Posted January 14, 2010 yeah fished it in oct, the going tactic was loads of particle with KG1 or Cell boilies over the top. had 6 fish to 16lb, took some getting used to as a run consisted of 1 bleep on the delk's , going back in spring. hope this helps Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ernie1982 Posted January 14, 2010 Report Share Posted January 14, 2010 I live 5 miles down the road from this lake and have fished it loads of times. It hold quite alot of doubles with a few 20's in it. Best tactics are to fish 6 feet off the island in the day and drop back into the open water at night. You do seem to catch more at night. Tactics wise, solid bags work great as do lightly baited spots with particles or a good spread of boilies, corn works well, boilie wise kg1 active8 and cell work the best, fish a snowman for the bigger fish. The lake is heavly pressured full most weekends. The best pegs are 3,5,7,10,11 and 15 at that time of year....
