anybody a member or a regular at lakeside in wolvey?

I am thinking of joining as a member there but looking back over previous threads back in 2005 people were saying there were some good 20 pound plus fish in there since then people seem to be saying that fish tend to average 8 - 10 pound with the occasional high double, have some of the fish been stollen from there or have there been some deaths?

 

does anyone know of the current stock of the lake?

hi mate i had a look round in the summer wernt to impressed to be honest one of the lads said ther are a few in there but not many i got the impression the bloke who owns the lake hasnt got the fishing in his best interests go up hopsford hall i no thers at least 2 30s in ther and 1 in 4s gonna be a double aslo getting a revamp at the minute

Yeah love hopsford but me and my mate are looking for a syndicate water with in half hour drive of cov thought that place might of fitted the bill, will carry on looking though thanks for the advice.

Lakesides problem is too many anglers for too little water. The last time I went for a look around there was a good dozen or so bivvies and all you could hear were spods hitting the water every couple of minutes.

again due to poor management, thers to many owners trying to make a quick buck and not enough that are fishermen.
