saddler Posted December 30, 2009 Report Share Posted December 30, 2009 Walked around Chasewater quite a few times and only ever found Carp twice, both times at the same place, Down the left hand side at the bottom(Norton side) seen 2 the 1st time I found any, around the 20lb mark and 1 about the same size the second time, I think you would have to spend a lot of time and put in a lot of bait to stand a chance, Still if you are brave have a go>>>>>>>>>>>> Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jemsue5 Posted December 30, 2009 Report Share Posted December 30, 2009 Chasewater deffo has some decent carp but location could be a nightmare. Two winters ago i was piking down the left hand bank past the waterski club when a group of 5 carp swam under my lines about 2ft down in the water. All of these fish were 20+ with the two biggest easily 25lb+. I do know of a couple of captures from the water but to be brutally honest i aint got enough breath left in me for a campaign on the place.
