ernie1982 Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 Hi guys, I am wanting to know if anyone can tell me how long you leave your pre tied rigs in your rig wallet for before remaking them? Reason being I am next going fishing early March and have to go have an operation on my arm next week and will be unable to tie them for just before I go. If i made them up this week, would they 'keep' fine for about 9/10 weeks made up until i go in march and still be up for the job and work as well? i.e sharpness, knot strength etc..shop bought pre tied are a big no no! I use a korda rigsafe box.. Ernie Quote

bigfrenak Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 I don't think they have a lifespan as such. The only thing that limits their life is usage. If you are using them a lot then they can get damaged and hooks can become blunt - but if they are just sitting in your rig wallet then they should be fine for years. Quote
