tomeluk Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 hi i have been carp fishing since october last year and i was thinking about fishing at eliscar dam does any one know if it is easy fishing and is they loads of carp , and wot would be the best bait to use for carp If it is near Barnsley then it is Elsecar Reservoir. There are carp in it but it is noted and fished as a mixed fishery. Targets bream and roach with corn or maggot/caster. Matches on Wednesday. Matches usually give a clue as to the type of fishery to expect. I have had a look at it but it seems to be pole and feeder fishing when I have been. (Nobody targeting carp with the real carp tackle) Quote
