misterrun Posted May 30, 2009 Report Posted May 30, 2009 https://forum.carp.com/carp-forum/viewtopic.php?t=37603 Found in 'Rig Tying Stickies'. I would suggest the free running rig. Quote

daleg2008 Posted May 30, 2009 Report Posted May 30, 2009 Fry a few pieces of luncheon meat before you go fishing and use them as your hookbait. frying them will make them tougher when hair rigging them. i use running rigs for the majority of my fishing defently the safer option and simple to set up . handav Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 i hear that the maker "plumbrose" tends to be the best meat, it stays on better and its nice and oily, also if you do fry some meat chunks try adding things to it...iv been using ground mixed spice and seem to be getting more bites than on plain meat alone. best way to coat them is to put them in a butty bag put your flavouring in aswell, blow the bag up, keep hold so it stays inflated and shake them up, works wonders! 666carpcatcher Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 Put a thing piece of tubing over the hair before threading the meat on, this will stop the hair cutting through he meat, simple and quick Quote
