It may be worth defining what you mean by good, numbers of Carp etc, and also a little bit about your experience fishing, so somebody could recommend something suitable :wink:

rite with you fishing there i take it day ticket waters then.

 

L lakes-rainworth-up to 30ish lb

langworth-main lake up to 30ish lb so i belive

vickers water up to mid 20s

kings mill res up to mid 20s- need to put in the work tho

newlands-clipo up to mid 20s this is an notts aa water but well worth it £30 for a load of decent waters

 

theres a few mate im sure you have fished a few of them. if you need any more give us a shout

I have heard That Hartill Ponds are good with massive Carp in. has anyone ever fished it?

 

harthill think thats pebley res just off A38 has some good fish in it again need to put some work into it

you maybe wright mate its only wot i was told by sum fisherman on another water. let me no how you go on cos i'm lookin for a place to concentrate on may be thats for me. i'd get a season ticket for pebley tommorrow if there was a bit more water in it. for now i'm on woodsets quarry pond but not to keen on the place
