its a well run water,very weedy but some nice scaled mirrors in.also if you do a night you can gat the local chinky to deliever!also you av to park in carpark so take a barrow or use there builder ones.fish pva bags to combat weed,popups ,fruit type ones do well.they have a website to.

you got a pm pal,i would fish behid pub,where beer garden is,first peg next to beer garden.there is a inlert pipe there,yes other bank shallower.there is a inlet pipe there ,fish near that.iland does get alot of stick now.better two thirds out

better one to fish for bigger ,better fish is the one behind pub.the other one[bigger one] is more of a runs one,smaller fish.fruit boilies seem best,cast about every 20 mins an dont forget the corners.there is also a third pond up in the woods but as been closed for about 6 years.

fished it a few times an would rate this place,as for a runs water,use to be but fox an heron have wised up!there is some cracking fish in both lakes,me i would go on fox.my best there is 42lb.tothrow a spanner in the works they opened the cat lake up now for carp[kingfisher]which is fishing like fox /heron when the place first opened.the main runs one there is called attilla.that fishes well well for doubles /low twentys but why go to france for that?fox or heron mate,deffo fox.for more infro go on there site[abbey lakes] or put it in you tube for results.korda filmed a dvd on there to.my rating is 8/10 pal.they av a tackle shop,cold beers,showers good staff an even drop a snack of at your peg.oh try there website an look at the 72lb carp in gallerys,also a few 60 plus from fox to 69lb.

fished other saturday,one 12lbcommon in 18 hours.very weedy,used light bombs ,3ft hooklenghts an pva bags.long hooklenghts so it floated on top of weed like a zig rig[weed abt 3ft high,also alot of bandkit weed]

as above fellas,got a weeks work up there repairing a bridge on the river tyne an got to wait ect for ther river to rise then fall so got 5 hour shifes so got a bit of time to fish.anyideas where i can get a fish or 2 please.
