wormslayer
Please help Going to France soon and was all set on taking some euro boilies but having spoken to my local tackle shop he reckons I should take Uk style baits now I can't decide what to do! Last time I was there a lad was catching well on euros but my localtackle dealer has experience of French carping as he has done many trips and also did a feature with neil smith (northern monkey) last year. Guest
Hi personally i would want to use the freshest bait i could get my hands on ie freezer baits, if that meant buying it locally i would do that . But on the other hand if there are a lot of crayfish at the venue you would want a slightly harder shelf life bait, it would give you a bit more of a chance than a softer freezer bait. or get a cage for your boilie. You could always take 1/2 from here and 1/2 from over there then you cant go wrong. and that means your takle dealer is happy aswell!! Hope that helps Damian
Guest fenboy
i would take what your confident in using in the uk ,I dare say you would not want to use a poor quality bait here so why use them in france ?
honka
Many of the lakes in France sell there own bait. Do the place you are going to sell bait on site?? It would be much easier to buy there than take all your bait from the u.k. Yes take some of your bait you use at home cos if it works here it should work there as well. adamspiers
I would say your best bet would be to ask the venue owner, as they would know what is hitting it off on there own lake.
