If you can, get in the snags or the beach swim most of the fish are coming from there. It was quite busy when i was there and i fished the valley swim, not to much action but i did catch 5 catfish (not that big tho) 5 carp were landed while i was there biggest 26lbs from the lawn swim. Also a very big catfish was lost from the lawns as well. In the days before i fished 3x30lb+ came out and quite a few 20s. The fish are in there and will grace your net if you get it right, most of the time they shy away from big beds of bait . Best to keep it simple and pva bags . well i think 4 anglers on the water would be ok spread yourself out and find the fish.. during the day most of the fish go up the far end ..During the eve/night they move to other parts of the lake .Myself and 5 others fished it last sept for 48hrs and i think 6 fish were landed up to 17 lbs Most fish were caught at night or early morning half way up the lake on the road side. Its a no-no. Its been taken off the cemex list of waters ... I live only 10 miles from the lake and even the locals dont know whats going on . The word was it was up for sale but i dont really know. Such a shame cos its a great little water ...

Had a look at the site... Its looks and sounds ok. But i would never go blind to a venue . I would want some feedback first !

dont know if you can get owner hooks in the USA, but if you can try the flyliner in size 6 or 8 in 3 years i have only lost 2 fish !!!

the bins is far bank opposite the point swim. that area could be quite good for a social...

Word is ''the bins'' done a 31 last week.. but loads of cats are coming out at the moment

To be honest with you, nearly every day ticket water you fish this sort of thing happens. Thats why i spend most of my time fishing syndicate waters. Yes before you say it ....it can happen on these waters as well, but not so much.

Sorry to here that rext hope you get em back ... but they will prob never be seen again. This kind of thing is happening to much and all over the country as well !!

Swangey has been fishing quite well..Although a lot of people are fishing for cats at the moment... some big ones have been coming out to over 60lbs. As for Kingfisher the word i have heard is that it is fishing quite well too. Fish to over 22lbs have been landed... hope this helps you ..

Ah yes... the good old days... Bolt rigs ...tight line and clipped up... tell you what though it worked then and work well!!

Where on the Wensum are you looking to fish? norwich end or fakenham end?

Many of the lakes in France sell there own bait. Do the place you are going to sell bait on site?? It would be much easier to buy there than take all your bait from the u.k. Yes take some of your bait you use at home cos if it works here it should work there as well.
