innes775 Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 Anyone got any info on Willow farm carp pool, wanlip road, syston, or any other waters in the area. Quote
kevtaylor Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 Hi sorry I cant really help but its seems I'm not the only one I can only suggest that you go on the site to try and get some info - probably the same as you would have to to get anything about the sandpit syndicate on the same area of land. I could ask my mate but he's not fished around there for many many years so any info would probably be useless. Good luck anyway Quote

kevtaylor Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 I've heard the same tbh - fish taken from Cossington and Navies as well as others that I cant remember at the mo - all bound for Charny! A beedles old timer told me about some of it coz the culprit was on beedles at the time - no doubt beedles has lost some too - theiving scum. Quote

innes775 Posted February 10, 2009 Author Report Posted February 10, 2009 I'll go over and have a looksy, just desperate to find some quiet water to chill on for a couple of days, that seems to be a tall order around the leicester area! Quote
kevtaylor Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 Beedles has been very quiet and willesley could be worth a crack - both large enough to give you space. You havn't said where you've tried already? Quote

You wont get any quieter than the local river mate, plenty of big carp to had in the Soar, lucky if you see 1 or 2 Carp angler a year on there, plenty of Barbel but not carp and the Barbel anglers are great at letting you know where the carp are coming out Quote
herbgsxr Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 try maynell some big carp in there Quote
