coops_northants Posted October 28, 2005 Report Share Posted October 28, 2005 You can have the height as much or as little as you like. Thats where the skill comes in if its wrong its useless. You need to be carefull with the bait you use for the height you set it. some people often forget that the longer the link the heavier the weight and so, does you bait stay popped up where you want it???? You should not use flurocarbon links as they are extremly heavy and i would say a pre streched match fishing mono like powerline would be far better. Get it right and it is as effective as any other method sometimes more so.
