sc7 Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 Hello all. I'm new to the forum so please bear with me. My brother is travelling up on the 28th for a day's fishing with me and our Dad. We're all into carping but haven't fished now for 3-4 years. We're looking for somewhere with some decent carp present, ideally in the doubles (and upwards), to get us back into the swing of things. Without sounding fickle - I feel like all three of us need a guaranteed catch to prevent us going another 3-4 years without a rod in hand We live just outside Manchester but don't mind travelling anything up to an hour for a good day's fishing. Any help appreciated. Quote

carpingod150 Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 It's grim 'oop North. Carp start to become thin on the ground North of the Watford gap Quote
sc7 Posted September 19, 2008 Author Report Posted September 19, 2008 Thanks guys. Avoca at Cudmore looks promising. Cudmore fisheries on lake avoca.you've picked one of the best places for the noddy's but more importantly the carpers guaranteed day session catch places Does this mean we can look forward to catching if we can put up with the numpties that fish there?
