    Cudmore fisheries on lake avoca.

    Not too sure of the stock but from the pictures iv seen the lake with the castle in the background is heavily stocked and in the pictures were shown to low 20s.

    I think to fish the place you have to be in with a member of staff, and a high up one at that. Iv read about people fishing it and seen pictures, and lots of them as it is very easy fishing. Not to sure about there being a 30 in their as a angler who did work there stated it was around 28lb with LOADS of mid to upper doubles, but this was a few years back so who knows what they are now.

    About a year or so ago when i was fishing the main lake, a bloke just leaving from fishing the specimen lake said he had a great day on there with fish to 17lb.

    Fished it a few times, and im not impressed. The owner claims there are big carp in there. When i was there a few lads from manchester came down and wernt happy to find it was packed with small fish. A big fish kill occured a year or two ago which most people knew about but the owner really doesnt tell the truth Give homefarm fisheries in alsager a trie, alot of doubles and a fair few 20's and cats to 37lb.

    18lb??? Dunno where you had that from. When i was on avoca a bloke in the next swim to me had a 22lb out and my mates had several mid/upper doubles out.
