Hook's

Hey!,

 

I was just wondering what hooks everyone uses, the main two patterns of hooks i use are:

 

E.S.P Big-T Raptor's

and

Gardner Mugga's

i use ESP raptors

I tend to just use 2 hooks now, BigT's in size 10 and the Gamaksu super strong in size 6(muchmuch stronger than stiff riggers and sharper). I also always use shrink tube for that bent hook effect or just to extend shank

Hooks I use:

Carp-R-Us Nailers in size 6-8, Centurions size 6-8, Longshank Nailers size 6.

Drennan Super Specialists from sizes 6-12.

Owner FLB's amd Mustad Ultrapoints.

 

Oh Look! no trendy hooks, just patterns that I know work and do the job I want from them.

I use nash fang x and fang uni size 7 for most of my fishing now, they seem to be working a treat.

The fishery manage where i fish was talking about some hooks he swears buy ( i lost a fish you see) he said to me to try some G-hards cant remember the company who make them but he says they are all he uses, £12 for 10 so have to be good, would mean no casting near trees just incase:D

i'm on the korda wide gapes size 10 and use muggas and fangs

I've recently changed after years of using fox series 2B (barbless). At the moment using : Ashima Heavy Carp in Size 8's and Nash Fang X in Size 8's - Both barbed and I am well impressed !!
