maggot rigs

Not seen a lot on this forum about maggot rigs, this is something I am goin to be experimenting with over the forthcoming months

 

Can anyone point me to either a web site on somewhere with clear instructions (and pics pref) on how to tie a variety of maggot rigs?

stupid question but what colour magots are most effective for big carp? Red or White

they are just like a pin, you thread the maggots on and tie it to a hair, put a mixture or white and red maggots on it

I like the medusa rig, if you can make it without gluing your fingers to it!

 

Don't really think the different colours make much difference.

 

Will be trying the maggot clips soon.

As its my first time, I think I am going to stick with one of two options, the medussa rig and the one where you thread the maggots onto floss and attach using a rig ring on the hair.

even in lakes where the silver fish are low surely they would much those magotts in seconds?

I've seen these things, they look a bit dangerous to me! have you ever had any problems with 'em?
