brandon147
Fished it a few times, and im not impressed. The owner claims there are big carp in there. When i was there a few lads from manchester came down and wernt happy to find it was packed with small fish. A big fish kill occured a year or two ago which most people knew about but the owner really doesnt tell the truth Give homefarm fisheries in alsager a trie, alot of doubles and a fair few 20's and cats to 37lb. sampvfc
ive also fished it and i wasnt impressed. there is no big fish in there however u will see the lake packed with bivvies because the owner believes that there is big carp in there so thats wot he tells the punters. save yourself £7 mate and dont bother. alrimmer
Bit of a late reply but just found your question about Holmston Hall. Its in the village of Eaton near Tarporly; small complex with 3 pits. Largest pit is about an acre and apparently has carp up to 25lb. Saying that i've fished it a few times this summer and the biggest i've seen come out is a 14lb. Nice place though even if it can get a bit busy over the weekend. I'd be interested to know how its fishing this Autumn now the weather has cooled down a bit. Good luck, Al
