Understanding rigs for beginners

Firstly thanks for giving me a good description of a few options. 

My tying days are gone, I just can't do it. Eyes not good. 

Would it work with a small pop up or pellet, and bait stop straight onto the swivel?

If not......how do I put a bait band on a swivel. I realise I'm a beginner and I'm a little blind. But I'm really trying to work it out.

I'll check out ready made loop rigs. What is the benefit of a loop yo loop rig?

Saves having to tie a decent albright knot and having that to glue or not thought
