Nash s5r or suggestion

Recommended Posts

Fed up of the rubbish battery life of my  pro logic bats. (Had to change battery twice in one of my recent sessions) And i can't remeber  where it brought them from to try and sent them back.

So I'm gonna get some new alarms. Only need 2  heads ( if im being trueley honest)  would like a receiver  for the odd night that I do. But mostly be evenings  and mornings. I've seen the nash s5r which seem ok price  Only down side I see in lack of senseitity  adjustment

anyone had a set  and get advise what there like?

Or anything that's around the same sort of money? Imo not worth me dropping the extra  money for r3 or txis( which are too big for  bag now anyway) for how little ill use the wireless  function

Never really looked at Nash alarms...but the Sonik SKS alarms i can not fault..£99 for 3 alarms reciever and bivvy light...no sensitivity adjustment but that dont bother me...used in windy conditions and no faults...been dropped in lake...frozen..and life time guaranteewhen registered.

And how long have you had yours for ?  As I'm finding  all the cheaper  alarms I buy  only last about a year. Otger option  is invest more money and look at delkims evs  or Nevilles   knowing that  I can sent them back for services and if there loud enough I won't need a receiver. As now it's just the odd night I do
