cyborx Posted October 22, 2017 Report Share Posted October 22, 2017 wire brush to clean any swarf out of the teeth, then use an old paint brush to brush on oven cleaner and leave for 30 mins to degrease it. rinse off without touching file part and then dab dry, place your file in a plastic tray of ordinary viniger and leave for a couple of days, rinse off, dab dry and give a squirt of WD40. this will not only remove the rust but also sharpen your file.
