gavinbarry
I have always used a hook link length of about 5 inches for all my fishing. Whilst whatching a programme the other day, Danny Fairbrass used a 12" approximately hook link for weeded areas. It made me think So wondered what your hook link lengths are for Silt, Weed and clear hard ground Gav
simonhudson
i use different lengths all the time ,sometimes i use the longer rig if carp are spooky so they dont scare if they see lead and use longer one when usin method feeder found this works better than a short one.usin a long one in weed sounds strange even as ive never done it myself ,mind u every body has got there own way and opinions
