gavinbarry Posted June 4, 2007 Report Posted June 4, 2007 I have always used a hook link length of about 5 inches for all my fishing. Whilst whatching a programme the other day, Danny Fairbrass used a 12" approximately hook link for weeded areas. It made me think So wondered what your hook link lengths are for Silt, Weed and clear hard ground Gav Quote
simonhudson Posted June 4, 2007 Report Posted June 4, 2007 i use different lengths all the time ,sometimes i use the longer rig if carp are spooky so they dont scare if they see lead and use longer one when usin method feeder found this works better than a short one.usin a long one in weed sounds strange even as ive never done it myself ,mind u every body has got there own way and opinions Quote
