Guru N Gage line.

I really like this line, but have only used it for hooklinks so far. But I'm thinking of having it on a reel for floater and float fishing. In 12lb is thinner than my normal brand. No reason to change, but I'm always looking for a little 1% edge if it's available. Anyone else use this line before?

I used it in 6lb; I thought it was thicker and a bit stiff for float fishing (compared to 6lb sensor and using pellet wagglers), at 12lb I would say you'll struggle to cast any distance without a reasonable weight attached, but that's just my findings.

Interesting Ian. I like the fact it's clear compared to Daiwa (my most favourite bottom fishing line) sensor. I'll give it a try on one of the reels and see. Thanks for the feedback.

Hi buddy.

Spoke to Guru themselves and they suggest we don't use it as reel line. They thought it would be to springy on the reel. So I'll keep it for hooklink.
