A rariety, I'm taking the father in law out for the morning tomorrow and looking for somewhere for a bit of sport but not full of plonkas and preferably not shoulder to shoulder. spr1985 Posted September 24, 2016 Report Share Posted September 24, 2016 No doubt you will get some better offerings, but some day tickets of the top of my head are newlands hall(near Chelmsford) blasford hill (near chelmsford) rayne lodge (rayne near Braintree) colemans cottage (near Witham) custom lakes also known as a12 lakes (near Chelmsford) failing that Google day ticket lakes south Essex loads come up. I had considered Newlands actually but it tends to be mega busy most of the year and we aren't likely to roll up til gone 9am which will mean getting in where we can. oscsha Posted September 24, 2016 Report Share Posted September 24, 2016 I've not fished many day tickets , the only one I have on several occasions is Blasford hill (many years ago) nice little lake and should be fishing well in this weather .
