cyborx
Got to menton , the monument, Acton Burnell and Weston Park as they are the ones that readily spring to mind but i bet there are some secret beauties that you will have to find for yourself. there are actually some well nice little pools but you would have to go to most of them at least two up. i do know of one that is behind a kfc and McD that has some beautiful koi in but it is also a not very desirable area. it was a boat pool for a manor house that was knocked down and the grounds were split either side of the birmingham road, now you have to wade thru the usual McD boxes and chicken bones, then fight the rats and that is just to get bankside, the fish would be worth it tho but then you have the human rats come investigating your tackle so Hmmm! cyborx
the three pools mentioned by CM above are all owned by RH fisheries now with limited access and high prices as below. 1) the monument £60 per session (min 36 hrs) 2) acton burnell whole lake booking only for 6 weeks mid april to end may 3) weston park again 6 weeks for full lake booking only all RH fisheries lakes are syndie only (with the exception on monument 1) with weston park at around £800 p/a now (it was £600 in 2007) rich mans fishing
