shrinking tube

hello

i called be named as a stranger to the 'shrink tubing'. could somebody please inform me on where i would place the shrink tubing and would this put an end to the annoying tangles which i get when i cast out?....as i am fairly new to fishing is there a better material which i could use to make my rigs rather then braid ???

Shrink tubing is used to make fish friendly hook shank extensions (see a diagram for the Withy Pool rig) and line aligners. Like i said they are used with hooks in the making up of rigs.

using a mono hooklength may help to reduce tangles

Same result can be achieved by using a PVA stringer,stick or bag.
