j92 Posted November 1, 2014 Report Posted November 1, 2014 Planning on doing a night or two down there next weekend, does anyone know how it's been fishing recently? I was on a lake a few months back and some guy was saying that the lake record for Upper Tamar has died? Is this true? Quote

grangemilky Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 I don't know the name of it mate but it was the 46lb one lol Yes that fish is long gone i'm afraid, but it wasn't a healthy fish. The biggest it had previously come out was around 25lb, but for some reason its believed it was very unwell and retained a lot of water/spawn. I think they have put a few more Colliford Commons in there recently, there a plenty of fish in there, but nothing more than 25lb ish. That said, its a big water, and several people have reported seeing much bigger fish. Quote
