chrisbonnie
anyone ever used it? heres the description from the nash website about Triggalink is a hi-tech, modern carp braid with an elastic core. You will see when you pull it off the spool, that it has no stretch and, like other modern carp braids, it is easy to tie your rigs to an accurate and consistent length. The magic happens when it is immersed in water. After five minutes, or so, it retracts by some 30%. Now it is loaded and ready to trigger! As soon as the carp tensions the rig it will stretch with a build up of resistance, just like a bungee elastic, and the carp now has a big problem. It can’t get rid of the rig. so, do you just tie this normally, as in a knotless, or do you have to do a combi link, i only found out about this stuff yesterday, so im still confused to how its used etc... junglebunny
you wont tie a knotless knot with it as its to thick and it shrinks/expands when wet.

gidneyboy
If used correctly ie. in combi rigs and in the right situation then i have found it phenomenal stuff. I found the most effective way of fishing it was with about 20mm of either silkworm or merlin as the 2nd part of the combi. It was this set up that i used almost exclusively during the season just gone on my target water and i am sure that it has been that little extra edge that helped me become top rod by quite a long way. Nearly every bite was a screamer (which is unusual on this lake) and the hook holds that i experianced were all rock solid, quite possibly the most consistant hook holds i have ever had in over 25 years of carp fishing. Just one other little tip and that is to camo it up a little with a marker pen that matches the lake bed which you are fishing.
