jimkg Posted August 25, 2012 Report Share Posted August 25, 2012 I am in no way ready for 30+ fish, I am after a place to get my first twenty and learn, develop and teach myself the techniques I've been learning, I do have a good knowledge and have been fishing since I was young. So basicly I'm after a pool around north Shropshire / south Cheshire to go on night fishes or just a day ticket, Thanks for any help given ! travisbickle Posted August 25, 2012 Report Share Posted August 25, 2012 If youre just after getting a bend in your rod and in all seasons...upto mid twenty....easiest water in south cheshire thesedays....winterly pool....used to be fairly hard going back in the 80s before it was messed up...but stocked up high now and you should get a fair few off.....not my kind of water but....good for honing your methods up on....open water on the point of the front half of the pool was always a good bet....couple of us created a hard patch out there...wont say how....good winter water...very easy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
