Carp Fishing trip down south.

Hi all, im planning a fishing trip for me and my son and was asking if anyone knows any good carp fisheries anywhere down south eg. dorset or essex. Somewhere thats not too much of a challenge that does night fishing and price that is competitive and has some good fish mainly All help would be appreciated. Thanks

hi mate, a couple i would recommend are monk lakes in kent and frant lakes near tonbridge, both have around 7 lakes, lots of options, but i would avoid weekends in the good weather, they get rammo,

Hi mate

 

I would highly recommend Town parks fishery in Paignton, Devon .

I travel down there from Birmingham twice a year for 4 nights sessions.

There are carp to 30lb and Catfish to around 50lb. The price is £15 for 24hrs and the owner is very helpful and it is all gravelled around the pool

so does not get muddy in the wet.

personally i fish the two speci lakes, 7 and 8, tbh mate its a bit of false advertising as the average size is low to mid double but ive had some good fun on them lakes and they have some lovely ghosties and koi,a lot of the bigger fish seem to come from the margins, and the middle of the lakes are extremely snaggy,

great shop and helpful staff, 3 specimen lakes and a runs lake. check there website and facebook for all details. also coking farm is within 10 mins of todber. 2 specimen lakes, a carp runs lake and a match runs lake. again great staff and baliffs!
