nemesis_1972 Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 A guy was mugged there not too long ago, had all his gear nicked and a good kicking apparently for good measure. The area isnt the best, never has been. We were shot at with an air rifle from the houses direction. We were subsequently told, the locals are VERY teritorial of the pools and dont like outsiders. That came from a local tackle shop that supplies most of the locals that fish there !!!! Quote
alfredo839 Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 ive fished the telford withy last yr lots of low doubles, ideal if your just starting carp fishing as it is supposed to be brimming with them (too many ive been told) must admit i only live 10 mins away i wouldnt be willing to travel to far for it. never heard of any bother though and its days only Quote
