If its clear then there are other ways to keep the line down. Use Slack Lines and Running Leads, possibly with Weighted Rig Tubing to keep the Line down near the End Tackle. If you want to keep the Line away from other rods then they may be worth considering. In my view Back Leads reduce the Indication that you get relayed to your Alarms. andy_galloway Posted January 10, 2007 Report Share Posted January 10, 2007 if im only using 2 rods i normally wouldnt use fixed back leads, only the flying ones. i have recently started to fish with 4 rods so i find i have to use back leads to reduce the chance of fish picking up my other lines.
