anddos
I think if the holiday park opened up the lake to fishing then it would attract new customers and generate alot of money , here's a pic of the lake http://www.pb-pics.co.uk/Images/LANDSCAPES%20and%20SEASCAPES/Marton%20Mere-Blackpool-0408.jpg I know its ment to be for nature only but it looks like a beast of a lake to fish, does anyone have any stories of maybe poaching it or something

zammmo
With that amount of birds, you would need to night fish it... Have you seen fish in it? Why don't you suggest to the owners opening it up for fishing. This time next year you could be a millionare...

carpmantaylor
it used to be run by a club called blackpool angling club years ago but they could not afford to keep it on and when they gave it up they said they would not let it out for fishing again. i would love to get on there seen some really big carp cruising in summer. carpmantaylor
i know a lad that tried to fish it he got there just as it was going dark had set up his stuff and within half an hour security from marton mere and 2 park rangers from stanley park were there to escort him off. i think he was just unlucky and someone must have seen him and said something. is it really worth the risk. Ryan0151
There are cameras surrounding the lake and there isn’t many or any ways to get close to the water , it’s practically swamp all the way around for the first 20/30 meters at least
