catch 22

Evening everybody.

 

Im off to the catch 22 lake in norfolk in a couple of weeks.

Please could anyone give me some info on what bait etc??

think the cell does well on there,my mate is sponsered by cc moores and still only uses cell there!

Thanks for that, will give me a start in the right direction, would you know if they are quite riggy in there?, or to avoid the bars etc. as i am guessing most would cast to all the obvious features??

Any news on this lake apart the cell , me my mate fishing this in the next two weeks for two days so any extra information on this lake would be helpful

Done last friday night and had 5 bream. I fish the method so maybe to be expected but ive had so many carp on it i dont use anything else. Two other fish came out in the night. One off the island the other out of peg 2 i think. I was in 29.

 

Fished it about 6 weeks ago from the old car park end and had a 20lb 4oz mirror smacked out as far as i could put a 5oz method ball (about 90 yards). A lot of fish were moving infront of 28,29 and 30 that time but it was dead last week. All the fish seem to get caught at night, not like back in the day, its bloomin hard work now.

Many thanks for getting back, Me my mate going for two days from the 26th, I have been told to try and cast far as possible with the cell

I don't mind catching bream if it means I don't blank, Spodding may be in order then. Stick mix aswell. I will update this when I get back.

Just as an update, me=0 fish=1 the two days I was there only 4 fish caught 31lb the biggest, my mate had a around 6lb bream on the first night I was in swims 20-21 (double swim). The swims I wanted was taken

 

overall a very nice lake but also a very hard lake.
