Carping West Mids!!!

What type of lake/challenge are you looking for & where do you usually go?

Ah i live in Surrey, but meeting a mate from Manchester so we are looking for somewhere inbetween the 2 Im not looking for a runs water, but somewhere i should catch with a bit of effort! any help appreciated!

i am also looking for some good carp waters in th midlands. I usualy fish places like boldings, willow marsh ect. I want to catch carp 15lb+ local (ish) to were i am.

Having a troll around Barston Lakes looks like an option!!! anyone fished here recently?? And preferential pegs??

stick yourself on any peg at barston and youl sack up!! thousands of the things in there..

 

willesley is a gorgeous place that isnt easy by any stretch, could be worth a look

I had a shed loaf fish out when I fished it about 4 years ago,

Responding well to zigs at the minute from what iv seen walking around it, and the cell is the bait to be on.. I love the place, but only do the odd session on there now usually for a bit of a social

if you want a challenge try erics or the masters at shatterford lakes, nr kidderminster, ive done many hours, had many blanks, but when things come together, the quality of the fish are hard to beat , oh you may also get the odd moggie as a bonus.

never fished willesley but been round a few times for a walk and it looks good, only thing that i dont like is the lake is huge and i aint used to fishing big lakes

size of the lake shouldnt make a difference,,,find the fish first, then fish for them,,
