single bleeps, small bobbin movement, like bream. not the usual bouncing like eels! do when hooked in rivers.

ive scaled all my terminal down to the min, because of the heavy silt, but ive fished this drennan braid on rivers for years with no probs, i was thinking eels?

if you want a challenge try erics or the masters at shatterford lakes, nr kidderminster, ive done many hours, had many blanks, but when things come together, the quality of the fish are hard to beat , oh you may also get the odd moggie as a bonus.

ive just got home from my 1st overnighter on the staffs/worcs canal near wombourne, staffordshire, ive been baiting two spots every other evening for the last 3 weeks, then left it 4 days with no bait, the result, 2 tench, 1 bream and 4 carp the best hitting 15.4lb, not bad for 2 killo of bait me thinks anyone else tried the canals ?
