carpkid12345 Posted May 27, 2010 Report Share Posted May 27, 2010 Hi i am attending the juniour carp camp at horse shoe lakes in a weeks time. the problem is i dont currently have a spod rod has anybody been to this event in previous years and was a spod rod needed or did they supply one. any replys will be a great help. Spoddings a waste of time and money! I concur, give the spod rod a miss, and fish solid pva bags, hopefully you should be fishing in summer bay... If you are look for the clear patches in the weed, cast towards them not on them (so you land just off the patch) feed with boilies little and often around the patch, and you should get a few..
