hi im looking into to adding cork into my hookbaits. im using 15ml cell hookbaits and 6 mill cork sticks . in the korda dvds i see that danny fairbrass has the cork facing the hook. How does it sit on the bottom becasue i would of thought that the cork would be trying to lift the bait sort of upside down if you no what i mean. any advice of using the cork would my hookbaitys would be much appreciated.

is it true korda have stopped selling the hybrid soft> If soo does anybody know why?

do you think that feeling the lead down to the bottom will make a different and also i have heard people using a pva stick then tweaking the rig and lead back to straighten it all out once on the bottom? any body else ever used this technique.

Hi i have recently been doing some tests with my rigs and my concern about them is trying to get the rig to push away form the lead. When i was testing the soft coated braids I just wasnt getting that push away effect when dropping them in the edge. Anybody have any ideas on getting the rig to fall away form the lead without using a realy stiff hooklink?

Hi i am attending the juniour carp camp at horse shoe lakes in a weeks time. the problem is i dont currently have a spod rod has anybody been to this event in previous years and was a spod rod needed or did they supply one. any replys will be a great help.

hi has anyone ever fished on the lakes in steeple langford which are on the salisbury district angling club membership if so what are the lakes like and would you reccomend them.

hi am due to be fishing at horseshoe lakes on june the 3rd for three nights and im wondering what size hooks i should use due to the weed and size of fish has anyone previously fished there and what hook size would you reccomend thanks.

hi im starting to use pop ups on my local water do you tyink pop up presentations single out the bigger fish due to them being abit more blatant to a smaller carp?

todber manors big hayes lake. you will get lots of bites and the average fish is around fifteen pound and the biggest being 34 2oz. me and my mate went for 2 nights and had fifteen fish up to seventeen pound but there are loads of 20s in there. take a look on the webiste www.todbermanor.co.uk
