Heading over to Linear next week for a 48hr session, looking to fish hunts corner. Has anyone fished any of there lakes after it re-opened after the floods? Any information about the ground ect is much appreciated. Many thanks in advance!

Looking for a barbless alternative to Korda Longshank

because Korda hooks are pump! Yeah? strange that i have had several forties on them and thousands of other carp with no more problems than other patterns used. Only a few factories knock out the majority of carp hooks. people I know who have tried these hook have had problems along with myself, so there not for me. There are many of other hooks out there of a better quality and better price! -

The only venue I've fished is Todber in that area so can't help out with any others. It does get extremely busy at a weekend, id recommend arriving the Friday to give you a chance to walk around and decide where you want to fish. Big/little hayes hold some good carp, you can usually park right behind your peg (yes! Lazy I know!) small Fluro pop ups in solid bags usually produces.

Don't know if there has been a thread for this but Todber manor is doing a free days fishing on any of there lakes, all you have to do is go onto there website and print the voucher, the deadline is Sunday 6th Jan so only a few days left! Think il be heading down myself and try to bank my 1st fish of 2013
