Any advice would be much appreciated.

i got most sucess finding a clear spot in the weed feed with mixed sized pellet with sauce boilie as a hook bait. most of time id cast across to bank across from me then walk round a chuck pellet in over my bait.

alderfen is not a hard lake. Should get a few runs there. lakeside is a good lake. Is stubbs hall lakes still there? lol been many many years since i have fished there old john bless him is there still them black annoying swans there lol
