i take it is your first time there what a place superb mate idyllic stunning fish just a great place to relax and take on some of the stunners up there :lol:have you spoke to kev he has some bait called golden brown which do well up there and also matching pellets but you have to order them in advance hope this helps a bit ok mate

its mostly silt but the manager (kev) clears most of the swims there you dont need a boat to be truthful but that is up to you it wouldnt hurt to throw a lead around for a little while when you get there if you want any more info pm me bazza

just got back from the vale there was 2 24lbs fish out since friday a couple of low 20's and plenty of low to high doubles thanks to kev for a great day well what we could see of him in the rain,looks like its going to be a good ay ticket water for the future

hi just to let everyone i'm off to fish evesham vale on sunday just for a short session as it has now got a new fishery manager (also runs rookery meadow,and hes doing a lot of work up there now digging out new swims,tidying up etc) i will let you know how i get on there was a nice 24lb common out today cant wait to get there

cheers for all the info so i have looked at some of the lakes you guys have mentioned they all look good has anyone heard of or fished Etangs De Breton as they have a small pool which is only available for 2 anglers this could be ideal for me as i am only just getting back into it all cheers for all the advice again baz

hi i have been looking to book a trip to france for me and the misses as she fishes too we are looking for a not too hard water( hopefully some fish) has anyone got any good ideas for me to look at. been looking at the places on here but i am undecided as there is a lot of choice, open to suggestions cheers baz

just returned from white acres and the fishing was terrible as the pools had flooded last week i was told by one of the resident anglers (but not by the staff funny that )my son in law had a 9lb mirror in super condition and a 5lb kitty my self had to make do with a 12lb mirror,18lb common and 15lb 2oz ghostie lovely fish all on nelsons as pats has been packed out all week but there was a 43lb cat out on a whole matterson sausage i will return there sooner rather than later as the whole place is overall very good (the cats now are about 55lb in nelsons too and a lot of 20lb+ carp ) pm me if you want any info cheers baz

There has been 1 out all week so told me only 15lb on meat that's the one so far

Just been round pats pool and nelson's not a lot been happening 4 fish out since Friday will be giving it a bash tomorrow will let you know how it goes

i know that this place has it's critics but i am off there this morning as my son in law has booked us in for a week,hopefully it wont be to bad will let you know how it goes ,fingers crossed

just got back from rookery meadow fishery not a bad day lovely weather whole pool to ourselves fish boshing everywhere some good fish there,had a couple of superb condition commons about 6lb lovely dark mirror about 8lb all took on maggot lovely peaceful day great well worth a visit if u can get there £10 for the day max of 5 anglers, http://www.rookerymeadowcarpfishery.co.uk/home

so the old lake is not that good then i will miss that out too are they all pay on bank any rules u no of cheers
