    I've just found some in my tackle box that I bought last year then promptly forgot about :oops:

     

    Anyone using it at the moment?? How're you tying it up, what're your thoughts??

    i know i might sound a bit naive buy how do you tie a zigrig not with it on rigs yet

     

    Say you're fishing in 12' of water, you want to fish a zig mid water, length of mono 6' long hair rig tight to hook with a pop up or bit of foam or whatever floats...straight to a leadclip or whatever set up you prefer...or buy one of the adjustable set ups good I guess as you can keep altering the depth without changing hooklength :D

    Used a syringe for about twenty years now to pop a bunch of worms up :wink: ......long hair ..about ten lobs..9 of which are halved..then threaded onto the needle and fed onto the hair..thread the full lobby onto the needle at each end and again in the middle..long hair stop..pull them tight on so they dont wriggle free....syringe air into the full lobs middle section :wink:

     

    I'm fairly sure that the very first question I asked on this forum was about using a syringe to help in popping up lobworms. I've forgotten what the replies were. :oops:

     

    Where do I buy a suitable syringe, please?

    I like what you've done with the shot on the swivel, never thought of that will give it a try. That's my only concern with the chod (I haven't much experience using them) that when your using the likes of avid stuff like highlites and tic tacs the buoyancy in them is unbelievable so I worry it needs to much weight?

     

    I used the avid naked chod beads a couple of weeks ago, before all this snow, and they work a treat with a pop up, well balanced and don't slip on the line when wet, worth a look at :D
