I fished the first cabin swim (nearest the gate and landed a couple, but the owner advised me to fish at the other end of the lake near his bungalow (not a cabin swim) My observations were--the cabin swims dont produce, you have to move where the fish show themselves, this can be a bit of a bu.... if you have payed out a small fortune for a cabin-but its what you would do under normal circumstances-wouldnt you-

I fished there in sept. 2010, a bit quite, I had 2 mid doubles- Its a nice location and I spoke to a regular who reckons it can be very good, and the owners were very nice people- I might go back this year and watch euro 2012 in between catching carp-"I hope"

I put on another line of enquiry about Coppice Pool. you need to buy a BAA ticket, but the water is fairly easy with plenty of swims. On a good day you will get around 10 boubles and a possible 20
